Yep, you want to regain some compression lost in raising the port timing. |

Re: enticer head on g1
Yes go with the Enticer 250 gasket. It's not any thinner than the G1 though, unless you use a metal one, and I wouldn't advise that. The metal gaskets are very difficult to get a good seal and tend to leak compression. The jug bolts on the G1/Enticer engine are not very large and will break if you over torque them, be careful.
Your biggest gain on this setup will be with the carburetor. I;d go with a Mikuni slide type carb if you can afford it, in like 30mm. They are the easiest to tune. I used a sled carb with a butterfly and fought that thing to the end. You are gaining quite a bit of squish just by changing to the enticer head. Try that and see how it goes. Without a bigger carb, you won't realize much more power. It will run better. |

Re: enticer head on g1
Yes that's how I ran mine. Just watch downhill runs or you'll over rev the engine. What are you running for fuel/oil mix?

Re: enticer head on g1
Just FYI, 50:1 is very oil rich. You'll get smoke and oil will drip from the muffler. The stock oil injector mixes at 150:1 - 300:1 according to the manual. I ran 85:1 after my rebuild, then ran 100:1 for over a year. I used synthetic blend high quality 2 cycle oil and 87 octane pump gas. I recently took the jug off and it looks like new, over 3 years after rebuild. I know a lot of guys run 50:1, but I think that's a lot of oil.
