my g2 build
bought this cart , in none working order, been siting for at least a year,
first was to get it runing, welded up a new battery box, oil change / filters plug/, then figured out i needed a new primary clutch, so then i got a new clutch and belts, new ignition switch, runs perfect now, then i had a bit of rust to deal with, so i have been grinding off rust, and painting properly to prevent more, i am going for an millitary type look, i have bedlined each part but then the body is gonna be flat tan, with black accents, got most of the back half done going to be cutting out diamondplate for the back half top, then bedlining black, lots of black diamondplate, black grab handles seats should be in friday, and lift and tires in a couple weeks, here is my progress so far, was crappaly painted in orange, and has taken about 100 sanding disc to remove much of it, after a good bit of rust removal after removing most of the orange on the rear grinding and prepping floor new floor |

Re: my g2 build
Looks good, keep the pics coming.
What are you going to do with the gas door? I was missing mine too and bought a OEM replacement but now wonder if I should have cut one out of diamond plate...the hinge part is pretty flimsy and I am not sure how long it will last. John |
