Default G14 posi?

Looking at the plowmans and BU posi units and it doesnt mention the G14. Do they have a different rear than the others? What models will the plowmans work on? I will want posi but dont want to weld the diff.

G14 has Dana axle, and will accept a posi kit.

I stand corrected, G14s with serial numbers higher than JN4-118823 have a dana axle (posi IS available), lower SNs have the yamaha built axle (no posi)

I am not familiar with all the different axles for this model but mine has a label on it that says Spicer. With talking to Plowman when I got his performance kit he said this was the better one. I know it is not like the one in my manual as it has a rubber plug for filling and a removable back plate.

That is the dana axle (posi available). Better, im not so sure, posi available is the only better thing i can think of. I have never had to dig into the yamaha built axle for repairs in 7+ years working at a yamaha dealer, i sure cant say the same with the dana axle.
