Smile Observations on Plowmans Cart

I am from Minnesota, and picked up my plowmans cart last October. It was to cold and I didn't have a chance to drive it, other than to my garage until I got to Texas. I'm a winter Texan in Port Aransas for 3 months, Jan- march. Ok so back to my Plowmans cart. Mine is a custom 4 seater with 80 inch top, jakes shifter, HID headlights, street legal with seat belts, turnsignals, 22 inch tires, 6 inch lift, carbon fibre dash, custom billet steering wheel, and stormtrooper wheels. Also has performance kit, my understanding is it is one step down from the Hot Setup, doesn't have the bored carb.
I added rod holders, my big thing is fishing for black drum down here, and that is where plowmans custom cargo box is so handy for hauling my gear or groceries or my dogs. In Port Aransas it is legal to run carts on all roads and 17 miles of beach with the exception of the main Highway.
Ok, so finally what do I think of Plowmans cart. All I can say is WOW. Definitely Better than I expected. I gps it at 31 with the windshield up, don't know if down would have made a difference. I rarely go that fast, probably closer to 20 to 25. But what I really like is that it runs and starts smoothly and handles like a charm, also it gets up to speed so fast, that's where Don's clutching comes into play. Down here everyone has lifted carts, but when they see mine they can't believe its a 2006 G22, even lifting the seat, everything in the motor area is like its brand new, even more than the cart, the rear cargo box is what everyone says they want, but I believe you need Dons rear seat kit for the box to fit, because it is patented , for his rear seat kit, which is all aluminum and that's what I needed for the salt air, this place can rust anything in weeks.
So am I pleased, I don't know what more I could have asked for, runs great, looks great, and yes its a little more expensive, but as they say, you get what you pay for.

Very nice. Never heard of Port Aransas before, looks nice. What is the cost to rent a decent place near good fishing for a few months?

Sorry it took so long to reply. Lots of company. We rent houses in Port A, they are about 1700 to 1800 a month, may be able to rent condos a little cheaper.

That's a nice looking cart. I think anyone would be happy with it.
