g2 backfire
When I raise the seat on my 88 g2 in netural it runs smooth. When I put the seat down and give it gas in neural it backfires a few time then starts running smooth. Is there a switch under the seat that might cause this? Thanks

Re: g2 backfire
Not that I know of. It has been said the voltage regulator can cause ignition issues if its bad and that is above left rear tire. Also there are the battery cables the seat can hit and the wiring near the hinge of seat. I think only the choke cable and key wiring move with the seat.
