Default Exhaust Question

Hey all, Is there anything I can do to the stock muffler That will make a difference in power??? I have seen the Plowmans setup, and was going to buy one from him but My wife found out today that her job is ending in 2 weeks. So from this point on I will be Building all the Parts I want/need.
Nothing is wrong with the one one there now but I am the type that loves to wring every bit of performance I can get out of something.
This is on a G2 btw,

You can cut it open and take out a baffel, and enlarge the tail pipe, but it will get louder.

You could buy a race-muffler for a clone,and fabricate a header for it too.Also find an ignition-box for a G9,the G2 has a rev-limiter.
