yamaha performance parts
hey does any one no were to get a nice sounding g9 muffler? I just want to put it on a stock engine for that nice rumble

what if i just cut the stock muffler pipe shorter.

If you can weld, you can cut the stock muffler open and gut it. Fastjim cut the neck off his stock muffler and installed a (what looked like), some type of lawnmower muffler on his G9. Sounded about like a big lawn mower engine. He also installed a k&n type air filter.

You can modify your muffler if you can do some welding.

I cut one open and removed the baffles and installed a larger tail pipe.

i think i could do the bigger tail pipe bit i can weld on a 2'' pipe maybe and bring her out the back
