2007 Yamaha thoughts on Purchase?
I have been looking for an upgrade for my G9 and I came across this yesterday through a friend.
2007 Yamaha Gas Cart with 6" Jake's Lift and 20" Mojave all terrain tires. Fella wants $3,500. Anything I should be concerned with on this cart? I drove it and except for being a bit loud, rode and drove well. My thought is to actually remove the lift kit and I am not sure I want the high center of gravity with my younger kids that although they should not drive it alone, they may do so and they could put it on it side. It appears that the tires would still fit even without being lifted. Any thoughts are appreciated. It will be used as a pit cart at the dragstrip to pull two junior dragsters. |

Anyone? Is the price right? I had been looking for a while at EZGO's and this came available.

Thats not a 07 g29 drive in the picture. Price seems a bit high to me.

That is one of yamahas finest, 2007 last year for G22 (all the bugs on input shaft worked out). Price seems high to me, i would think more like $2500 from private seller. Dealer may try to set price that high tho.

Re: 2007 Yamaha thoughts on Purchase?
Serial number is JU0-402757. Looking that up shows a 2007 Yamaha G22A. My understanding is that is the last model before Yamaha did the Drive in 2007.
Am I missing something? Love to find one in the $2500 range but the only thing I have found there has been stock carts with no top, no backseat and no windshield, at least around here. |

Yep, '07 was a "overlap" year. Most people don't know it.

Re: 2007 Yamaha thoughts on Purchase?
I'd buy it around here thats a 3500 cart easy, I paid 2700 for a 2005 and adding lift, tires, rear seat and wind shield for 1700, Canada is an exspensive place lol but what is the price of fun right ?
