Default question on jakes lift kit??

Have a 97g16,, bought after most of the mods were done,, I believe its a 6in. kit, was wondering if I should add grease fittings? I see where they go, but I think I need an easy out to take the plugs out. should I? there is no play now, but are they designed to last forever, without greasing? I live in a lake community, and run it on the road,only.. thanks

My jakes lift kit the fittings didnt screw in rather just tap them in with a rubber hammer. Tight fitment.

Should be a hole facing to the front where they put the jakes sticker.

yes, there is a hole, just the size of a grease fitting,, it has a plug in it, why its not an Allen or screw driver I don't know,, its just a very small round hole,, maybe you are to use a Easy Out,,, or as I said, will they last so long you don't have to touch them??

If in doubt and to make sure the sleeve and king pin get proper grease, simply remove the spindle and apply a light coat of grease to the sleeve and king pin. Reinstall and wipe clean the excess that ooozes out when reassembled.

I just installed a Jakes 6" on my Yamaha and it came with grease fitting in the fronts of both spindles.

The next time you have the cart down for service, disassemble the suspension and coat everything with caliper-lube,it works like neverseize, doesnt wash out,and lubricates too.Hope this helps.
