Yamaha G14 Wheels and Tires
My mother took a fall this winter and needed pretty extensive surgery. She does not get around very good any more so I bulit her a golf cart. It is 1970 Corvette yellow and black. I would like to find my parents a set of rims and tires other than stock to make it look a little cooler but I dont want to raise the ride height becuase she cant get in and out of it then. What size suggestions are there? An inch or two difference is ok, but nothing that requires a lift.

Re: Yamaha G14 Wheels and Tires
maybe look at street type tire. I know my cart has a lift on it but these rims, I believe, came off of Japanese mini truck. They're 13" rim with an 8 lug pattern but they fit perfect on the 4 on 4 lug pattern hub. The tire is a 215 50 13. So the tire height is only about 21.5" tall. This type of tire and wheel might fit without any lift but I'm not completely sure. You might be able to find a smaller tire.
Oh and the center cap is nothing more than a hub cap off of stock 8" rim. |
