Default Gas TReatments;;;

I did have a post a few weeks ago about this ,but I wanted to share with all, I bought a 97g16,, it had no shut off valve for the gas, and the system was really gummed up,, I remember, when I first started it there was a very distinct, miss, and never got better when warm,, I cleaned and changed everything, the miss was still there ,,I got a bottle of Gum Out carb cleaner,, there are different ones so if you do this look close at witch one you buy;;2bucks, anyway I started with 2oz for 3 gal reg gas. I just put in the 2nd 3 gal, the miss is GONE:::::: I think the gum out cleaned the fuel pump, and all carb parts, in neutral, cold, its perfectly smooth. this stuff really works, gust thought I would share;;;;;;;;

Startron, StaBil or Lucas all have the exact same primary ingredients minus the enzymes in Sartron and StaBil. Seafoam also contains this ingredient but only 20% making it more expensive performance wise. Either of these products will stabilize your fuel for months and prevent e10 separation and clogged carburetors on your carts. StaBil makes a marine grade additive as well that works awesome. I use 1/4 ounce (0.25oz or 7.5cc) to one gallon of fuel.

I have been using Yamaha's fuel conditioner and Ring Free Plus in every tank.
I know how well it works for their outboards so figure it should be ok in cart.

Gumout fuel injector and carburetor cleaner MSDS

Gumout is mostly mineral spirits (Kerosene) and I have used paint thinner to clean injectors before. It has a small amount of detergent in it as well. It works

I have used Stabil for years. It's always worked for me. I put it in the lawn mower in the fall and it starts right up in the spring. I put it in my car when I leave it sitting for months over the winter. My cart is electric so I don't use it in that. :-)

Always use stabilizer that is fairly new. I put some in some carts that had been around an unknown number of years (carts were new), ended up pulling the heads off all those to clean hung open intake valves. The old stabilizer actually caused the fuel to gum up on the intake valve stems. That was not fun!
