Help with I.D. Year model
Got this one in today, as usual can't find any tags...It's pretty beat up but we got it running and it runs strong. Don't have to use the choke and it has nooooo...smoke. The only numbers I found are on the engine "JR3" any ideas on year model??? Thanks everyone!!!

Re: Help with I.D. Year model
Hey guys, Thanks for the feedback...how does the "G" series relate to year model? and yes the body is well battered. Is there a chart on this somewhere? I'd like learn how to tell. Then I don't have to ask all the time and maybe I can help others too. Thanks again.

There is a chart on the Yamaha Web Site. http://www.yamahagolfcar.com/partsandservice/
Keep posting the pictures. I like seeing these old carts being brought back to life. |

Re: Help with I.D. Year model
I envy you. Cold beer and old carts. Sounds like a great way to spend the day. I have been working on my project cart for about 3 months. I am getting close. All I have left is installing headlights, tail lights, and diamond plate running boards. One day I may lift it but that is not a near future plan.

Re: Help with I.D. Year model
It's nothing special. I will get them on soon. Wife is in the hospital and has the pix filed somewhere or another. When she gets on her feet I will get them out. Started with a cart with 4 flats, a dead battery and about two years since it had been run. Got it for a bargain. It took me about 100 hours to get the thing to a point that it was worth my $100 investment. Lot of hair pulling fun.
