Heres what the "economy" 4" lift kit does with your suspension. 22" tires will still rub some. The rest is up to your imagination...

Also, dont forget about the "pachanga lift". I always prefer to DIY, i got the economy lift really cheap, if i had seen it face-to-face i would have just done it myself. But i got the cheap kit for a cheap price, and i wanted to start driving it to work soon, like tommorow. My car required $15 a week (i know, Boo-Hoo) to go to & fro about 2 miles each way (sub-10 mpg). Now $15 a month. Plus, i can drive it anywhere. We have stupid construction everywhere, i would rather zip around the construction and trails than be stuck in the "traffic zombies- AKA idiots" (only gonna get worse 'till early '16). I have learned the hard way about lifts & suspension geometry. I am currently running Umax jakes front arms (factory yamaha stuff, too narrow for G2). Still learning (shocks are busted, but still going). Hey, what air shocks fit in G2-G19 fronts?

Can someone tell me to what extent, if any, larger tires say 22's will soften the ride? We r going to be using it around the farm mostly to get from point a to point b with tools and materials. Terrain is not too rough but we could use the ground clearance. We r thinking the lt suspension might be great but probably overkill.

The ride difference between stock tires and 22" is usually so much better, you won't even believe it.(there are some hard-riding,stiff tires). My Dads first cart, years ago,was bone stock,I rode across his yard on it,and got off,it was killing my back.I rode another stock cart of his last weekend, and still hate it!I ride mine everywhere(mailbox, out to the shop,etc...).Unless you are into serious off-roading,the LT is alot of money wasted.A lifted, stock suspension and decent tires will perform great, even in pretty harsh off-roading.My Wifes' G16 will go almost anywhere, and handles just fine, while still being comfortable for normal cruising too.Hope this helps.

The Long Travel kit does give a "top notch" ride quality though. The price is the deal breaker.
