Default Battery Tender

I just bought my first golf cart ( 2010 Yamaha gas ) and was wondering if leaving a Battery Tender on it (cables connected) would be an issue while stored. I don't use it a great deal and keeping the battery charged was a concern. I live in California and doing my part in saving water as you will notice lawn:)

Battery Tender works great. I use them on my cars when I leave them for a long period. It will keep your batteries charged without overcharging them.

I had Battery Tender on a Harley that I used very little in the past several years with no problems at all. Just didn't know if a golf cart was any different leaving everything connected to the battery. Thank you for your help. I am using the cart for Sporting Clays shooting and going to put a 3" lift , bigger tires & rims , basket , gun rack etc , etc. I noticed when I sat in the cart with stock springs and it did squat a bit so I put a set of Jakes heavy springs on the back today and made a big difference.
