Default G 1 died while running

I had issues with the cart only running wide open. I got some help on here and made a new throttle shaft bushing, ran better than it ever had. Then I decided to burn out the muffler and unhook the oil pump and used mixed gas. I mixed it about 80/1 (2oz oil/gallon of premium gas). Started and ran great, drove it over 3/4 mile, no problems. Took my wife for a ride and it started running rough and died1/4 mile from home. Pulled it home and checked things over. Good fire to plug, gas to carb, took carb off and cleaned , no go. I tried spraying some WD40 in the carb while cranking, still no go. When cranking it over, I noticed a lot of oil puffing out below carb. There are 2 small tubes sticking out of the crank case below the carb, one has a hose that runs up to the piece the carb hooks onto. the other is clean, meaning it has been used, but I can't find any hose to hook it to. I put a hose with a plugged end on it, still no start. Where do I look next, I'm lost?? Thanks, Chris

2oz/gallon is 64:1 ratio. Way too much oil. Remix fuel and try a new plug.

OK, I guess I didn't calculate the amount correctly. I ran a compression check on it and it has 100#'s. I cleaned the spark plug while it was out and put it back in and tried it, it finally started and ran poorly for a little bit, backfired and died. I'm trying to post a picture of the hose barb sticking out of the crankcase, not sure if it will post or not. I will drain the gas and remix it and try again. Chris

Isn't that port supposed to run the fuel pump?

I don't know, it has been converted to an electric fuel pump before I got it. I never noticed this before, don't know if it was plugged or not. I wonder if it came off when it backfired?

Did you remix the fuel and try a new plug? Not a different plug, a new plug.

Not yet. I'll stop after work tomorrow and get a new spark plug and another 5 gal of gas to mix with. The old tractors won't mind the gas I drain out. The chart I have says 50:1 takes 2.6oz/gal, 100:1 takes 1.3oz/gal. I put 7 oz in a 5 gal can and will fill it with new gas and try that. Thanks, Chris

If it has a electric fuel pump I would think both of those ports should be plugged? Otherwise you have a leak and the air fuel will not mix, correct?
