Why not just use regular rubber fuel line?

in tank bit is a plastic strawlike part
that fits/seals thru a rubber gromite on the top of the tank
the outside line should be a rubber gas hose

btw I removed the tank and replaced with a gravity feed tank
to get rid of the gas pump

I got mine from a Yamaha dealer. Check with one of our sponsors. It's like 3-4 parts. The hard plastic straw isn't used anymore, it's replaced with a rubber hose. I think the parts cost me around $20 or so. I ordered everything from the fuel filter to the tank.

Replaced the plastic straw piece with a piece of 1/4" copper tubing, or some size close to that. Did a slight flair one end and then put a fairly tight 90. Used rubber fuel line everywhere else. Works great.

The search is over ! I finally found original new old stock yamaha fuel pipe fittings for the gas tank. I have collected some obsolete parts and find it rewarding to search for them. Hope everyone had a great holiday.
