Nice to see that jets are available. I was told by the tech dept of another supplier that just the jets are not available and that I had to buy the whole carb. All that from the "price leader" in golf cart parts.

This forum will be good.

Good info Jim. I didn't know that. I was thinking about purchasing one myself instead of drilling the factory one, just in case it I ran into problems.

No guts no glory.....drill er out! We'll get it right again. Don't take the carb off just unscrew the float bowl to get the main jet out. I broke two carb spacers by overtightning and figured out to just remove the bowl.....DUH.....what a dumbbutt.

Oh yeah, if I remember correctly the two carbs look the same and I'm not sure the numbers on the identify them correctly its trial and error....I think.

Just a quick thought about jets. Don't drill too big! I confess...Yup been there done that. They like to run closer to the lean side, not fat. There comes a point where I just have to leave crap the heck alone!

Then I call Buggies Unlimited and they said "can't buy just jets, Gotta buy the WHOLE carb" Guess even they are not right all the time.

Nice to come to this forum for an unbiased opinion.
