Lightweight Wheels
I have been looking only for the weights of wheels(rims). I have found some jr drag slicks etc and the list the weight for shipping purposes, but now I need the weight for the wheels.
Anyone know a site or know the weight of what you got. please list what diameter the wheel is. what is the stock size for a cart? 8" with a 12" tire? |

Mine came from Gateway tire and wheel. I had to have 10 inch rims to accomadate Jakes brakes. They had the weights on their computer. I asked for the lightest wheel and tire combonation that they had with 10 inch rims. They are very fragile. Would not recommend them for any off road activity.

the 12x8 douglas red label is 5 pounds if you go blue label it drops to 2.5 pounds.
i would only use these for the drags.... |

M/T Junior drag slick 19" tall is about 1 pound

hmmm On the jegs website a M/t jr drag will run 9.2 lbs.

my bad the wheel is a 10 x 8 and the tires is 3.5 pounds 19/8/10

Look up HoleShot Wheels, they can do custom Drag Race Wheels for about anything. And have a lot of different designs as well. Just depends on how deep $$$ the pockets are, and what your willing to spend
