Default Harley drag cart?

i have had this 65 HD in the shop for two years and i have not wanted to cut it up and scrap it cuz its so clean, so why not make resto mod drag cart.
there is no where to run it in wisconsin but maybe that can change! anyway its just a roller [kinda] i have a honda 300ex front frame and suspension that i could clip on it. maybe i'm nuts but i think i'm going to give it a go.

DO IT! I am in N.C. and just found out about the NGKRA race in Pageland raceway in S.C. I'm going to go if I can get my junk together in time. Also the ECTA has a top speed challenge in Maxton NC about for times a year.
Is there a regular dragstrip close to you. I have a friend that bracket races a 72volt ezgo 3wheeler....well it started life as an ezgo. Anyway, his cart is running at 58mph 8th mile. Not really that fast but as you know, in bracket racing they have to spot him. He has taken home alot of trophies. His cart is dead consistant.
Even if it just the road in front of your house...IT WILL BE A BLAST!
Good luck

I think it is a great idea, full of wonderful sentiment But, I question your choice. I think the Harley will be unnecessarily heavy and as we all know in the drag racing world that spells 2nd place .... Sorry Dude, I give the idea a thumbs down. What about finding that axle between race dates???? OR the gears??? NO, I don't think so....Come on over,I'll give you an 86 CC gasser you can race
