dirt tracking golf carts
does anyone know of any groups that are dirt tracking any golf carts.
i'm looking for parts , photos , anything pretaining to dirt tracking. i would like to build a super late model styled g. cart. i cant find anything at all on the web. just figured you guys would know if any one would. if we cant find it maybe ya'll can help me figure it out. you know , stuff like brakes, how to swap out a motorcycle or lawn more engine, arms, shocks, which rear end to use, all that king of stuff. how to adapt other engines to g. cart rear ends. but if some one already is making this stuff or knows what to get and where to get it, then there is no use to reinvent the wheel. thx guys |

don't know of any dirt trackers but it sounds like it'd be fun. lots of engine swaps have been done, most are posted in the big block section.

Re: dirt tracking golf carts
Ha! two year old thread but Im going to reply any way. We do a annual BBQ at our place that includes bump to pass oval track racing with golf carts, its a blast. I have two sled powered carts one is a 89 EZGO Marathon with a Polaris indy 400 and the other is a Hyundai with a Arctic Cat L/C 500. Friends bring there carts too but more than 4 carts on the track at a time gets a little sketchy. And yes this was inspired by the Whiskey and is fueled by Whiskey. Good times and a little blood shed each and every year. BTW, with the wider stance and extra weight the EZGO dominates this event eventhough it is out powered by the Hyundai by 20 or so HP.
