Rear Disc Brakes
I have a used pair of mechanical disc brakes. I know they fit Yamaha's and I think they fit club car and maybe EZGO, but not positive. I had them mounted on a G16 (new) for about 4 months. They are in good mechanical condition, but will eventually need pads. I understand that new pads can be purchased, but don't exactly know who carries them.

Re: Rear Disc Brakes
Any reason you decided to move away from this set up?

Re: Rear Disc Brakes
I run my cart off-road. If installed correctly, they would work fine, but I installed them right-side-up (switched - or above the axle) to keep from hitting them on rocks, and they just don't work well when installed this way. These would work great for someone who isn't into rock crawling with a golf cart!!

What was the issue of running them on the topside of the rotor instead of the bottom? I was searching for a set for our EZGO and was wondering if guys were running them on top for better clearance. I might have to change my plans if you couldn't get them to work properly at the higher mounting position.
If I can make these work on an EZGO TXT I am very interested. Big hills in our area smoke the drum brakes and lead to a runaway condition. Aloha |

Re: Rear Disc Brakes
I don't have any idea about that. I run Yami's! I know, the instructions I saw said they fit EZGO.
