Re: wanted 1988 EZGO marathon parts
I have the elusive headpipe for an eighty-eight, it took me 2 years to find one for mine when I needed it so I grabbed a spare when I saw it become available ... I'll dig it out and get pics, I believe it had a small (under 1/4") hole in it that I was going to weld up, that may have been a different pipe though so don't quote me on that until I locate it, hahahaha (If You ever saw my Garage and PoleBarn, You'd be laughing right with me)

OH - almost forgot, why don't You throw a plastic TXT cowl on it, they only require a small amount of cutting to fit and they actually look cool as heck, here's an 87 I did several years ago:
And here it is next to my 1988 with the stock cowl: A straight, undamaged TXT cowl in need of some sanding and paint shouldn't run You more than $75 or so - I can send You all the pics of how to do the swap, where and what to cut, drill template, etc - You'll basically need a cutoff wheel and a 1/4" drill bit, that's all ... I'll stop yammering about the cowl and go look for the pipe now, LOL |

And there she be - I remember now, it *did* have a tiny ding/hole at the bottom from a rock or ? hitting it, I wrapped some fiberglass around it and clamped it in place to keep it there - give me a day, I'll open it up, blast it, and weld up the hole and get You another pic

Re: wanted 1988 EZGO marathon parts
Cool. What I actually need most is the muffler. 1. Both brackets are broken off 2. The pipe that connects via weld to tje center of tje top of tje muffler has corroded and is broken off. No longer attached.
As for the cowl. My stock cowl cracked all the way in half. Not too concerned what it is replaced with just want it to look nice and be something I can get for cheap. |

I have one from a 1992. The flange that mounts on the cylinder head has been cut off. You can have it for postage if you want it.

****, thanks Chazdo2. I know the 88's muffler is exclusive to that year only. Not sure if it would work. thanks for looking for me though.

The cowl cracked - I'm assuming You mean the plastic cowl cover and not the actual metal cowl itself, right?
