Engines on my Local Craigslist!

Here are a couple engines on the local craigslist. A 25hp Briggs V-twin and a Vanguard 18hp for the sum of $600.

I found a 25hp Vtwin on my local CL years ago.... like new $300. I jumped on it. Turned out to be a Subaru EH72 engine with one bad ignition. That was a great find... they are out there if you look long enough.

Looks like a good deal to me, I would buy them for that price for sure.

I tore down a Generac 990 this weekend, at the local recycling. It had swallowed a screw and dinged up one piston, but otherwise real nice. No flywheel, ignition or tin, so I passed. Even at .35/lb, I didn't want to have to track down the rest to make a runner.

I'm actually getting ready to order a new crank with a straight on it so that I can put my Generac 990 together and get it put in the G2 that's just waiting for it.

I know that Lurch will really like to know that it's finally a live, running machine.

I was looking at just turning the taper, like I did on a couple GX390-types, but may be too short for a sled/cart clutch?
