cant beat the cummins more power and there only 6 cylinders, you dont see duramax engines in the BIG trucks

as long as it isnt an automatic dodge trans they were good, the 5 and 6 speeds are durable, does ford build there tranny's like there diffs? needing replacing or repaired every 10,000 miles

What are you talkin about? My dad's '97 Ford work van has over 200k miles on it and still runnin strong. Other than the body rustin a little it's good. I think you're thinking of Dodge trannys, but 10,000 is a little too much for them; more like every 10 miles they need rebuilt. And every Ford we have/had was great, and everyone we know that has a Ford loves it. So guess you just spelled Dodge wrong.
