Re: Looking for a upgraded controller for Club Car Regen 2
Sorry. There is no upgrade control for this system. You can however convert this system to either series or IQ and use any of many upgrades available. |

I was told I could use an Alltrax xct400. Is that not the case

You would first need to convert to IQ, which is achieved by swapping the harness. I think Revolution Golf Cars sells it. You shouldn't need to change your motor.

I was told that too but it didn't work for us. We were pretty excited about it but 3 controllers later we gave up.
It's all documented here on BGW. In the end we converted to IQ drive and wound up with a 24 mph cart using XCT500IQ and D&D 506 motor. |

Re: Looking for a upgraded controller for Club Car Regen 2
Ouch... please post link to that thread. I am sooooo confused now. I am not trying to get a crazy fast cart. Just want to go a little faster. maybe 20-21 tops. I was told to get the admiral motor and the alltrax xct400 controller by Tahoedog I think his name is. So now I am just totally lost. Dont want to waste money for sure.

Yep, TahoeDawgZ71 is the owner of Revolution Golf Cars. I think the Regen 2 motor is fully compatible with the IQ system, so you shouldn't need to touch the motor.

Re: Looking for a upgraded controller for Club Car Regen 2
I have an Alltrax DCX 500 and a Plum Quick Bandit motor in a 00 Club Car DS Regen 2 and it works perfectly fine. Runs about 24MPH on flat ground with two people in it.
