KF82 exciter

Has anyone come up with a work around for the KF82 pick up coils? I know the "correct" part hasn't been made in years, and there are tons of these old Club Car flatheads still out there. I'm searching through all kinds of listings for single wire pick ups, trying to find one that might be able to be modified to fit.

In my case the power generating coils work, but the magnetic pick up that fires the ignition coil does not. I can create spark by running a jumper wire to power, and manually trigger the coil, so I know the rest of the system is functioning.

I work with a huge campground where we have over 100 of these old carts running around. In years past we have had to wait for another flathead to die so we could scavenge the parts off it, but I'm hoping someone has found a better answer.
