For Sale! 18hp Briggs Vanguard!

I have for sale a good 18hp Vanguard horizontal shaft engine. I had it for a project cart but with the side by side my dad left me and the G1 I've been modifying and playing with I don't need another project.

So I sold the cart this engine was for.

The engine ran good last time I had it on the run stand and should still with no problem. I also added a back up pull start to the engine for the times the battery may die.

I'm asking $300 for it and don't want to ship it. I may be open to trades for other toys, tools, stuff that goes bang and just about anything of value.

I'm in central Missouri and could possibly be talked into driving it a bit for an extra charge. But, if you wanted to come get it that would be fine too.

The engine is complete other than the fuel pump. It is a single barrel carb and has the original exhaust minus a muffler.

Smallblock........ I'm out in the sticks. No local UPS or Fed Ex. I did ship an engine once. But the buyer set up the shipping and sent me a prepaid label to ship. I then spent a couple hours making a wooden crate so ship it in.

Just more trouble than I want too go thru right now. Sorry!

Yep......... Chicago is about 6 1/2 hours from me. I was up there for a class a few months ago.
