Club Car Fe290, and other CC parts
I need to free up some cash and some room so I have a few things for sale.
1996 FE290, didn't burn oil or smoke and ran great, I did a compression check and came up with nearly 170lbs. The engine will come with the carbeurator. $300 Drive clutch from 1996 CC that has recently been machined and rebuilt with the power spring by Tom at Cart Parts Plus. Probably 4 hours on rebuild/machine. Comes with a drive belt with about 4hrs too. $100 Starter/alternator from 1996 FE290 that worked fine...nearly new belt goes with too. $50 Cart Parts Plus stainless header, muffler, and oversized main jet for FE290. $75 I'm thinking actual shipping charges. I'm affraid the engine would end up being $75 or so just from what I've seen others ship for. I live in Central Missouri and I'd be willing to haul the engine a little way to meet someone to save a little shipping. Thanks for looking! |

Re: Club Car Fe290, and other CC parts
Hey, ive got a few questions... First of all.... is this motor a CCW or CW engine? Also, when you say power spring in the drive clutch, are you refering to the 200rpm spring? And as far as machined clutch, how far out does the belt ride in the clutch when at full rpm? Sorry for all the questions.....Id like to get the clutch from you(no belt)...would you do $70 shipped to zip 39525? thanks

CCW rotation of engine.
The power spring is the +200 RPM engagement spring. The best I can remember the drive belt would run just about flush with the outside diameter of the clutch. I'll PM you on the clutch. No worries on the questions. Questions are good! Thanks! |

Where at in Missouri? I'm making a trip to Rolla this weekend and might be interested in the motor.
