EZGO 295cc Robin Engine Parts
I have a complete engine taken apart. The motor shattered a connecting rod and scored the crankshaft pretty good. I managed to score another engine with the same problem so I just took the good connecting rod and made a running engine. It was a good running engine before the great rod debacle of 16. I still need to power wash some of the parts because a lot of them are filthy. If anybody is interested in parts let me know which parts and I'll send pics. Everything else is there. You can also simply text me at 856-238-1077.
I'm throwing this out there before I put anything on ebay. I will be on vacation from July 15 - 23 so next week I won't be able to take any pics. I probably won't start ebaying the stuff until the week after next. Thanks, Mike |

Re: EZGO 295cc Robin Engine Parts
When I get home later today I'll try to get some pics. It's almost an entire engine. It was running when the connecting rod went. The only damage that I see is it scored the rod journal on the crankshaft and it snapped a piece off of the bottom of the piston skirt. It doesn't appear to have scored the cylinder. The crankshaft may be salvageable if you get a machine shop to polish it. I don't see it as being any good. So basically what I have is the following: (I may not remember everything)
Complete block and side cover (I will clean up the block and run a hone thru the cylinders if needed) complete head with all valves good camshaft rocker shaft and good rockers (I don't have the cover plate that bolts to the outside of the head and seals the cam and rocker shaft) 1 good carburetor 1 good exhaust manifold 1 good piston with rings (has some carbon on the top of the piston) 1 bad piston with good rings (I'm not sure that the rings would come off without breaking) 1 crank shaft with a scored rod journal 1 good balancer shaft 1 good flywheel and cover all timing gears, covers and timing belt. nuts, bolts, etc. I don't have any of the cover plates/shrouds that go between the carb & head and exhaust & head. (The metal heat shields). Also I don't have the air box or muffler. |

Have you re-bored your cylinders? Or are they still in "original" size? Need to know if I have t0 buy new pistons.
