05 ruff and tuff 48v motor

I have a 2005 ruff and tuff, with a big 48 vdc motor, if I counted right the female gear ( in the motor) that goes on the spline in the diff has 24 teeth. In stead of trying to find a matching motor, does anyone know if I could just use the whole rear end out of anything else, motor, axle, differential

Is your Ruff & Tuff a leaf spring rear or coil over? What is the width from the brake drum faces?

I went out and it is leaf springs and from under the cart from inside hub to inside hub is pretty close to 32 1/2 inches. I will have to pull tires to get you the outside to outside measurement. I still have to punch the clock at a real job, so I will get you those measurements tomorrow. Thanks tons for replying, I will try to add some pics.

Well that's real close to the Club Car rear end I have for sale if you wanted to make the swap for a more available motor. The Club Car is also leaf spring measuring 39" face to face on the hubs and 33 1/4" from inside hub to hub. The drive is 10 spline. Brakes are good.

So I'm guessing the motor sold huh. It was 48v right. So the 10 spline can handle the torque. So if the idea of replacing the whole rear end will work let me check and see if I can find something local if not I will get back in touch

Yes it was a 48V and has been sold. I've learned that you've got to be quick around here!!
