I need them to be in rebuildable condition...not excessively burned or water damaged. They do not need to be working. I typically pay $40 for them.

why don't you do Alltrax or Sevcon? is there anything better with the stock type ones?

Alltrax controllers are filled with epoxy and cannot be rebuilt. I do not have the ability to test or repair Sevcon.
