Parts for a 1988 EZGO for sale
I just picked up a rather rough 1988 (I have been told that is the year) EZGO cart. the motor is a little rusty but I think it is good (I will check it before I sell it.) I guess I will part it out. All I need is the controller coils and switches. I might keep the wheels. The rest is up for sale. If you need something let me know. Like I said it is pretty rough. But the front and rear axles look good, some body parts and trim might be salvagable the and motor are there I can sell them. It is located in middle Tennessee. My prices should be reasonable.
Thanks, Larry |

I might have an interest in the motor.
It is a splined shaft motor or does it have an armature gear? |

Re: Parts for a 1988 EZGO for sale
female spline shaft. 19 teeth (I think) Actuaully I used that motor after cleaning up the rust from it. I have the one from the Melex it is 2HP 2800 RPM 36 Volt 50 amp GE brand. It is a better looking motor I just used the one that was with the rear end. It weighs a lot so it might be expensive to ship. But I would be OK with $150 plus the shipping if that is not out of line. After I got the cart back running I found the read end was real noisy (the Melex) it was out of grease and full of rust so I took the EZGO rear end and motor combo. Actully I think the Melex motor is newer It is lighter and slighty smaller around (though the same HP). Let me know if that seems satisfactory.
