3.10hp Special Service nets about 13 to 14 mph on my cart. So that's about 200rpm per mph. In that case the 3.75hp Special Service should be about 16.5 mph.
I still can't afford a new motor so I'm chugging with a 36v 2800rpm stock running on 48v. It gets about 19-20 mph. Which makes sense because 2800x1.33 (33% more voltage) = 3724 rpm. So it's about 18.6 mph.
The king of stock motors is the 36v 3300rpm running on 48v. 4389 rpm or 21.9 mph. Now there is one more on the list that says it's 4150 rpm on 36v and 5500 rpm on 48v. 27.6mph on 48v.
These numbers aren't exact but are generated from testing on my cart. My cart is lifted on 23" tires. I've tested 3 different motors and mines really close to the 200 rpm = 1 mph. |
Where are you reading the rpm of the motors? I'd like to know which is in my cart... mine just says 36v 2.97hp special service.
