The maximum speed of your cart is software limited by the controller. Speed code 3 is about 15 mph. To get to 18 mph you must pay a Club Car dealer to upgrade the controller to speed code 4. The controller I have will get you about 15 mph. I will sell it for $185 plus shipping if you have PayPal but you must also return your core.
