Re: Melex 252
Munn, you will find that drive system components are pretty much the same as an EZ-GO.
Body, and other components not so much. If you can't find info here google, and check on eBay for things that will work for you. Hope this helps. |

Re: Melex 252
As far as the springs go, I'm not sure. Measure them and see what will interchange.

Re: melex 252
Craig I no longer have a 252. Could you post a photo of what you have and what you are trying to do?

Re: melex 252
The cart has no back rest supports they were taken off when PO installed plywood box on back, so the back rest were screwed to the plywood

Re: melex 252
So. Are you saying the cart has no roof supports? No roof, no seat backs?
I'm trying to help by memory, this is why a photo would help a lot. Some carts seat backs are integrated with the roof support. Some are not. |

Re: melex 252
It has roof. Not sure what original back rest supports looked like I assume they were tringulated to hold golf bags. There is a steel bar that comes up behind seat looks like a piece of channel metal would slide onto with 2 bolts
