Needing a 48v charger
I need a 48v charger for a build I’m doing. Not looking to spend a ton. Plug doesn’t matter, as I have the DC cord I want to use. I need an independent charger- a Club Car powerdrive Charger won’t work.

Re: Needing a 48v charger
I bought one of the cheapies off of Ebay for a cart I was fixing for a friend, amazingly it worked rather well, It might not charge as fast as some of the full size chargers, but that didn't matter to me, I was just trying to get the batteries full charged so I could repair the cart. Beats paying a couple hundred or more.

Re: Needing a 48v charger
I don’t like the 5 amp ones. Is there something better?

Re: Needing a 48v charger
5a charging is a golf cart battery killer... okay for bicycles though

I wouldn't use it long term either, but it worked for my purposes, brought a set of batteries that had been sitting for 7 or 8 months, and were reading a little over 36 volts, back up to full, when I finished fixing the cart they were holding 38.2 or .3 after sitting for a while, charger would get them up to over 43 volts when charging. There are some listed that charge in the 15-17 range. |
