OLD Yamaha
Don't even know what model or year it actually is, and I can't find a serial number tag on it. This poor thing sat outside for years and last year I pushed it into covered shed storage.
I had an idea to strip it and restore it, but I just haven't found the time to do anything with it. I do know the motor still turns, but do not know if it will run. There is some rust on the frame around the battery tray, but the rest of the frame seems in OK shape. The body is a bit rough but nothing that can't be fixed by someone with some fiberglass experience. Could be a big restoration project for someone who has the time. Or could be useful for some parts. It's located in central VA. Have no idea what it's worth, if anything. Doesn't really matter, I just need it out of the way. Would rather see someone use it than send it to the scrapper. If anyone is interested, PM me with any questions. |
