May want to double check, but I believe the rear ends in the Kawasaki powered models were completely different from the Robin's powered models

Mine is a 2001.5+ not sure if that's the same or not. Doesn't have an engine in it so I am not sure what engine was in it

Yours came with a pre-mci engine. Clutch on later models with Kawasaki was on the opposite side of cart. Ezgo changed these engines in 2008. You need the clutch from 1991-2008. You can use the 36 degree driven clutch and install a 28 degree center with 28 degree ramp buttons

Whats the 28deg buttons do? And the 36deg with the 28deg center/ramp buttons with withstand the torque of the diesel?

Trig is correct. The Kawasaki powered carts have a completely different rear end. Not compatible.

The 28 will help provide a bit more torque, as it requires more force for it to open. It holds the belt on the outside of the clutch longer (which creates lower gear ratio and more torque) until it spins up faster and the belt drives down further.

If you're running a diesel the extra torque really wont do you a lot of good, I dont think you'll be lacking in that department t. A 36 would be perfectly fine

Unless you plan on running a monster engine, people use vanguard's and stuff on them all thr time.

If you're looking for something stronger, find a clutch from a ~2010 Polaris rzr 800. Same spline and bolts right up. I have one and was going to use on my txt but it is pretty rough. It fits right on the shaft perfectly though.

The diesel is 15hp so it should be fine with the 36deg

I found out that I have a clutch sitting around in my axle pile in my barn lol. How do I tell if it is a 36 deg or 28 deg?

It is marked where I showed the red and black lines. My art work
You might have to slip it off to see but you will see a 36 or 28 stamped on it . I am betting you got a 36 degree but that will work for you.
