under body bling
Neon's or LED's. I've been told that LED's use less power, but Neon's put off a better glow anyone have any exp. on the subject.power source is a seperate 12v deep cycle....

Re: under body bling
I have green LED underbody lights. They look really good and give off alot of light. They're mounted front back and sides. I haven't seen the neon ones.
My gift to my daughter is going to be purple LEDs for her cart. She saw mine and got extremely jealous. Boo |

Re: under body bling
i put red cold cathode lights under a harley cart .... at night i think they gave off just as much if not a bit more glow than neon..... led's are nice.. durrable...but if there close to the ground.... or somethings under the cart you can see the light from the leds on what ever its shining on.....so there will be dot dot dot insted of a solid neon glow...... if i was to choose ... it would depend on what i'm going to be doing with the cart.... serious offroad... LED... manly camp ground cruzin... or light offroad.... neon for sure.... theres nothing.. NOTHING like the glow from neon tubes....

Re: under body bling
agree.... on ebay and some other places you can get LED strips that can be cut to length.... they can also be bent around corners and what not..... to get more of a "neon" effect... i have seen people that use a chrome reflector pan to help get more light down on the ground

Mine are 4 24" strips that are flexible. The do put alot of light on the ground. You can also alternate the pattern.

Re: under body bling
Could you mount a piece of PlexiGlas under the cart as well to shield the lights? Would that cause the light to be reflected back upwards? Just throwing some ideas out...

Re: under body bling
taking a golf cart to a campground when you go camping so you have something to drive around on the roads and stuff while you are there...
Aaron that would work but it would collect dirt after awhile inside and block the light.... or the plexi would haze and block the light in time also |

Re: under body bling
The LED strips I have are pretty darn tough. Not saying that they couldn't be destroyed, but to do it, you'd pretty much be hitting stuff you wish you hadn't in the first place.
