Re: wtb steering parts
Not sure of what you need? Can you post a pic of what you got and we can go from there. Lots of members with stock front ends left over from drop axle lifts, I guess.

Re: wtb steering parts
it is a drop axle lift cause the axle ends are curved down . i would like to change that and go with a spindle lift instead .

Aw man.. perfect !!
I will trade you every bit of my stock front end for yours.. done deal. I have a 98 Workhorse, everything should swap right out, I am taking it off tomorrow anyway..so all we have to do is work out the shipping.. |

Re: wtb steering parts
sounds like a good deal but the reason i want to change it is because the part of the lift that goes on the spindle was welded . when i got it , the weld were broke . i welded them back but they keep breaking . thats why i rather the spindle lift . it seems to be stronger .

Re: wtb steering parts
I am not sure which part you are talking about..
but I took my stock axle off yesterday. I will take a picture of it later and show you this evening .. It will fit right on your cart, and you can get your spindle lift and it will go right on..Then, you can take the box I send it to you in, put your axle in it, and send it to me.. Sound like a plan ? I will ship it Monday morning, if you want.. just p.m. me your shipping address and it's a done deal. I need to keep my stock spindles and such..so hope that's not a problem. |

Re: wtb steering parts
oh yeah..and the part you're talking about..if it is the part that
attaches to the tie rod, I will need it..it's like and adapter I think , between the spindle steering bar and the tie rod..Is that the part that breaks ?? There should be one on each side if it's what I am thinking..it's part of the drop axle set up... I will sort of need those also.. Just let me know.. later |

Re: wtb steering parts
Judging from the pictures I have seen of the pieces that he has that keep breaking loose, you might be better off ordering a new set of adapters from Jakes. The Spindles you already have from your stock setup, you should only need the actual drop axle and then order a new set of riser adapters from Jakes to complete the lift.
Since he is going to go to a spindle lift, it would be easiest to just swap axle between the 2 of you. |

Yep ! Jakes wants a few bucks for those...mmm mm, but that may be what I end up doing, anyway, Cajun Cartman..here is the axle I pulled. I am trying to adapt a four wheeler front clip to mine this weekend, so that is why I have it out. |

Re: wtb steering parts
So I guess that is all a big "no" then I take it cajun cartman ?
It really does not matter to me at all.. I was about to buy a replacement drop axle, and I will just throw this straight stock Workhorse axle under the shed..mm mmm Let me know if you still want it.. |
