WTB Key switch and 48V solenoid
I was wondering if there was anyone out there that had a working 98 version Club car key switch and any type of 48v solenoid that they want to get rid of. I have fried my key switch runnig my voltage reducer through it and want to wire a new one through a solenoid to turn on the voltage reducer. Let me now what you want for them.

Re: WTB Key switch and 48V solenoid
I believe it's the same one or at least the same dimensions and specs. This one is made by Potter & Brumfield and the CC one was made in China. I just ordered one yesterday and will let you know when I get it in a couple of days, they come out of the Bay Area, CA.

Re: WTB Key switch and 48V solenoid
Just changed one out this afternoon and the only difference in this one and the one Doug gave part no. is 48-01. This one came out of a p-d 2 charger; however the part-no. could have been changed. Will be curious to see if they inter-change. Hope this helps!

Doug
Thanks for the help on that part #. Do you think it will work for the application?? Some say that relays arent meant for constant use like a solenoid. Thanks for all the help guys. |

Re: WTB Key switch and 48V solenoid
The term relay and solenoid are often interchanged, they are all relays, solenoid is used mainly in the automotive industry and relay is from the electronics industry.
The rating is what you look for like: voltage, enclosure type, contact amperage, continuous etc. |
