Great-so did you order it from Ezgo and if you could answer me 1 question about what the heck the thing is called that is looped on top of the speed controller, it is about the size of a quarter and has 2 wires coming out of it, value number of it also if you wouldn't mind sharing.

Nope-it's 36 volt cart. Thanks Sonny I found that part right off the bat, it is called and varistor. You have any idea on how to tell if the cart is a X 440 or a X 444?
