Any 4-post golf cart solenoid will work.

Re: WTB- G-9 solenoid
But when I look on sites they show specific models and years. ??????? There must be a difference based on that right? Or is it a scam to get us to pay more?

Re: WTB- G-9 solenoid
Your G9 used a WR 586 ... list is about $90
There are less expensive solenoids that will work. Just not the same quality |

Re: WTB- G-9 solenoid
I have two 36v solenoids left over from an upgrade. One is a 585 series and the other is a 1155 series. Maybe someone on here will know for sure if one will work.

Re: WTB- G-9 solenoid
The 1155 is rated properly. Just a matter if the OP thinks it will mount up ~ I dunno about Yamaha G9 so much?

Re: WTB- G-9 solenoid
I ended buying an Oregon brand 4 poster for $16!! I went to my local small engine repair shop and he "guaranteed" me it would work. It does! The only thing is it does not "click" so if I have issues I will have to check voltage. Saved $40.

Re: WTB- G-9 solenoid
Here is a link I found that has all the info- and its only $11 there! I have used it for about one hours drivetime and so far no issues seen.
