Wanted: Governor for gas EZGO

I have a 1994 4 cylinder Jacobsen (EZGO marathon) that is missing the governor.

In my research it looks like all the 4 cylinder carts from at least 1992 through 2005 use the same governor assembly that attaches to the transaxle. If you have one, plese shoot me an email.

Thank you very much for your reply. Just my bad luck though, I didn't wait long enough. I went ahead and ordered the parts from the factory. Cost me over $100 bucks for a bracket and some springs. I wish I had just waited one more week, as my high priced parts just arrived yesterday.

I hope you hang on to your governor, just in case someone else like me needs one. I would have easliy given you $50 for a used one. It would have been a win-win.

wish I would have seen this sooner....i just removed all the governor parts from my rear axle including the internal parts...

So whats in there? And whats the difference than just backing the screw off?

Are you using your old motor? If it is a 350, Im interested.

There are counter weights in there that open up and move the gov. arm. I removed all this stuff because i'm using a gsxr 750 motor, don't want any of the counter weights to come apart and tear up my diff.
