Re: Cart AC & Heat?
There is a company out here in the desert that makes a roof top evaporative cooler. with 12v pump and fan. It works well in a dry climate.
Cool Breeze? Something like that? |

Re: Cart AC & Heat?
Scotty,
I had a coolbreeze ordered and cancelled the order yesterday when I saw this coolwell. I don't need the coolbreeze if I have the coolwell or vice versa. The coolwell is a little more efficient at cooling and offers heat using 12v, the coolbreeze requires 36 or 48 volts to heat and uses alot of amps. I am hopeful someone can provide some experience with these coolwells before I commit. OT |

Re: Cart AC & Heat?
On the Coolwell website I read this.
"In its cooling mode, it produces cool, dry air at approximately 40 - 50 degrees below ambient temperature." That is a pretty bold statement since most ac units can only blow about 25 degrees less than the air they are taking in. This must be one heck of a design. I have seen them on carts here in Phoenix but never operated one. |
