Re: WTB:Club Car seat frame
I would think that going to the local golf car dealer and getting one would be the cheepest,,,even if you have to put a new cover on it to make it look new,,, I've taken junk ones and cut a new board, reused the side arms, gotten new t-nuts and bolts, staple a new cover on, for what I would think would be less than the shipping alone.

I got an old cc in the back yard of my shop, I'll look this weekend and see what shape the seat frame is in.

Re: WTB:Club Car seat frame
I think the body is different to accept the new style plastic hip restraints. The old metal bar was a lot less bulky... I think there are 2 reliefs in the side of the seat support lip in the body on the newer carts.

Re: WTB:Club Car seat frame
I went down to my shop and I do have one. If you were here to pick it up I'd let you have it for $10, but the hassel of packing it up and shipping it would cost more than that. I took a pic of it,(but now I can't find my blue tooth for my computer) It uses a different kind of hinge than the later model cc's. It's made of alum and is tarnished, and some paint overspray, but would clean up with some effort.
I still suggest looking at your local golf car dealers,(it was on an OLD cc that I'm not repairing, making a trailer out of it) but if you fail,,,, and want to pay too much in shipping and handling,,,, contact me and I'll try to help |
