Default Wanted, Gas engine

I need a gas engine to go on my Melex cart. I don't know what model it is. Just post the engine you have for sale and the price. It doesn't have to be a Melex original engine, but that would be cool if someone had one. I'd just like any kind of engine that will fit in my cart. Not looking to spend TOO much so don't post your $1000 engines haa.

I have an 11HP from a generator that runs great, $175.00 shipped to anyone in US.
Where are you located?

I would like that but I forgot to mention that I wanted something with a starter. Unless I'd be able to hook up the starter generator is on my cart. One other thing is that motor is prolly worn out :3 because it was on a generator it was on full time when using it. Idk man. It's not fixed speed is it?

Your starter can be attatched to the block and belt to the clutch, make it start and stop just like a cart.
The motor runs fine and doesn't smoke, my sister didn't unplug it when she turned the house power back on, back fed the power head and let the smoke out of it.
The throttle/carb is variable like any motor, it is hooked to a governor.
How close to Va. are you?

Hmm, how long has the generator been used? What do you mean when you said this part, "my sister didn't unplug it when she turned the house power back on, back fed the power head and let the smoke out of it", lol im baffled.

I don't know the mfg date but here in Va. it might have been run 3 or 4 times in the last 5 years.
The generator was sitting turned off but still plugged into the panel when she turned the house power back on and put 240V to it.
It would start and run but not put out power, I tore it down and found it had melted the charging stuff in the generating part of it and cost to much to repair.
It's a good solid motor and I was just putting it out there, no biggie.

THC, I'm sorry, it's just a phrase that we use around here.
Usually when you fry electrical stuff you see the smoke from burnt wires or whatever inside.
Hence the phrase "I, or he let the smoke out " and it won't work anymore.
