Trade for Cart?
I have a like new Dan Wesson Model 15 -2VH 357 with 8 inch barrel. I bought this new in 79 and it is still like new. I have the original box also. I was at the gun show last weekend and and could not find one. Dealers said they are becoming collectors items and values for this model depending on condition is running $500-$850. If you have been to any gun shows lately you know you can't touch a large caliber handgun for less than $500. I bought this to deer hunt with and I did kill a deer with it years ago and never used it again. One of the most accurate 357 revolvers available according to popular opinion.
What I am looking for is a decent condition cart. I would prefer something 2000 up but will consider all. Depending on what you have I will come up with the $$ difference if needed. This is what I have. |

Re: Trade for Cart?
Had one and they are a fine firearm.
If I were you I would sell it to someone or at a gun show or gun shop. What is the least you would take for it? |

I need to do some more value checking on the gun. There is a gun show here every two months. Maybe by the next one I can find a good source for what it should be worth and go from there. |

Re: Trade for Cart?
Without the Display box, the other barrels and spanner wrench that came with the gun it won't be worth as much, but it's still in the $500 range. So, you are 1 Eyed Jack?

Re: Trade for Cart?
I used to have a Dan Wesson in 45LC. I'm sorry that I sold it now! I wouldn't be in a great rush to sell yours. Not only is it in beautiful condition, these guns will be collectors items. There is a new Dan Wesson company, but it's not the same!

Yeah, they have open and closed several times. They are in NY now under Wesson Firearms. Owned by CZ-USA. The Czech Republic. Guess they found a way to import their guns.
