Default time to sell my Harley cart (IL)

I have too many irons in the fire at present;
I am selling my '81 Harley 3 wheeler gas. tiller steer model.
Yes it runs, drives both directions.
Body not bad, but not perfect.
I have about $700 tied up in this cart but don't wanna store it this winter
F-R switch itself was $185
tuned up, carb rebuilt, new throttle cable and who knows what all else (don't remember everything I did to it, most was last year)
Asking $550
located near kankakee IL
Pics questionable I aint a computer guy; but best shot would be via attachment to E mail unfortunately posting here ain't gonna be able to happen

Let me know!

well it's sold but I am quite disappointed in the total lack of interest in it all over in general; I have reposted it 3X on Craigslist and in those 3X have had 2 responses; the 1st never responded again after I acknowledged his response.
Last year I had it listed at $600 and had more tire kickers but zero offers; this time was listed at $500 and wound up getting $400 from the only guy to show me any money; he offered me $350; yikes I paid $400 (non running, misrepresented, not as complete as it was supposed to be via Ebay)
I rebuilt the carb, replaced the FR switch ( that alone was $185) replaced the points and condenser along with a couple cables and other parts that I discovered missing upon getting it home; (that were all supposed to be there)
Like I said I paid $400 not running; it cost me like $125 in gas and a day worth of driving just to go get it besides.... and now that its complete and running, I struggle my tail off to get $400 back; I know of a couple pairs of these carts that don't run (unrelated sellers, miles apart) that each want $600 for a pair of non runners as we speak; the set of them closest to me, I know both need engines replaced or rebuilt/new cylinders. but the guy wont budge.

I still have my original 73 HD that I originally bought as a project, that I have not yet touched is in storage and waiting for "it's turn" I do have it down to about 3rd on the list of things to get to from abouth 10th; but if all they are worth in running condition is $400 that is quite a let down.... I see just engines for them alone (used not even overhauled or nothin) listed on feeBay for $455; I have over $400 in accumulated parts for that one already and that one I (was) planning to do up the fiberglass and make all nice again.... that one is (was) intended as my "keeper" especially now that I also have a popup camper to use it along with; now I am wondering if it's worth it....

Don, I understand your pain although I don't feel it! We have to think in labour of Love terms not money. Personally I like the feeling of driving my Harley amongst beige factory models on the golf course. To me, that has value. A live theatre performance can cost upwards of $100 per ticket and lasts 1-2 hours. A Harley cart amongst beige factory models.............Pricele$$ !!!
