Re: WTB: Yamaha G1 Dash
Also if you have never been on there he has an extremley detailed parts list with part numbers and part pics for every single component on your G1. I also purchased Engine seals from him they were perfect and came in the same box. Those engine seals on that old 2 cycle cart were the first things I should have replaced....What a difference!!!! It took about 4 hours for both sides. The hardest part was pulling off the inner pulley on the main drive. It requires a special puller. But you can make one from a spark plug and a bolt or hardened 3/8 punch. A word of advice...Get the longest plug you can find for more useable threads. Search the forums for DYI Pulley Puller. It has some good points. And a few helpful comments

Re: WTB: Yamaha G1 Dash
Yes I have ordered parts from them too. No problems. I'm trying to find a used good cheap dash for my neighbors cart. He's retired and lives on a fixed income. Not much money for him to spend on fun stuff!!! Thanks..

Re: WTB: Yamaha G1 Dash
Yea I think he will have to re-use his. It is just cracked were the choke cable is. He can use a couple of fender washers to make it work.
Thanks. |
